Under 16 V Killeagh

Our under 16 team played killeagh in there first county league game. Like the bride rovers game the lads got off to a very poor start. Down at half time by 8 2-5 to 0-3 Dillons came out in the 2nd half and really put it up to this classy killeagh side. Kev coughlan started to score from all over the place. The inform Andrew murphy along with Darragh brosnan and michael angland dillons came with in a point of killagh. Eric o donovan was havin a fine game in goal. Killeagh finished strong and ran out winners 2-11 to 0-11. Dillons with a great team display after a slow start won the game 1-11 to 1-1. B Hurlers Fight Back To Advance

The B hurlers fought back in great style Wednesday last in a hard fought game in Mahon. After a tough opening half playing against a strong wind and trailing 0-08 to 1-02 the B's showed great character to fight back and beat Ballinora on there home turf where they very rarely lose on a final score of 2-12 to 0-13

Junior 'A' Footballers Go Down To Whitescross

The A footballers were beaten sunday morning in terrible conditions. Playing against a strong wind in the first half they went in at half time trailing by 0-7 to 1-01. However with the wind at there backs they couldn't build on there first half performance and it finished 1-08 to 1-04.
